internships
Ackermann PR offers spring, summer, and fall partially-paid internships. Our interns are responsible for writing and distributing news releases and media materials, completing research for clients and event planning, among other things. Because our interns are members of our team, we pledge to give them a solid work experience and to refrain from using them to run errands or to do meaningless, monotonous duties. Depending on individual school guidelines, pre-requisite courses must be completed if the internship is for class credit.
Description of the Ideal Intern Candidate:
- At least Junior or Senior Standing
- Minimum of 15 hours a week availability
- Previous Internship or Some Job Experience Preferred
- Positive Attitude
- Highly Motivated
- Well-Rounded
How to Apply
Intern prospects should send their resume, three references and two to three work or class writing samples to Lisa Hood Skinner, Senior Vice President, Ackermann PR. The cover letter should include a brief description of the type of work you would like to do. The APR internship offers a stipend to each intern upon completion of a successful internship.
