Here’s a look at a great feature from the Knoxville News Sentinel on Connor Concepts and their 25-year milestone! The full version of the story can be found online here:
Connor was a University of Tennessee graduate who started out as a business major, but “it was so boring” so he switched to psychology.
But he still wasn’t really satisfied. What he did find satisfying was working at a restaurant. The tips were good, there was a great camaraderie, and he seemed to have a knack for it.
“I really enjoyed the restaurant industry and when I thought about being a clinical psychologist or a restaurateur, that was not a hard decision,” Connor said.
“Being a restaurateur is a feel good position. You go in there, and if you do the job right, people are coming out with smiles on their faces and you get pats on the back,” he said.
