Her ability to deliver high-level consultation and strategic thinking to a broad array of organizations, from non-profits to billion dollar companies, has earned her the respect of clients and colleagues alike.
Cathy has served as a member of the board of the U.S. Council of PR Firms in New York and is a founding member of the Sedona Roundtable, a group of the top regional PR firms in the nation. She is a nationally published author on integrated marketing and communications and professional services management.
Cathy’s distinguished career as a public relations and marketing leader has generated numerous awards and distinctions. She shares her expertise and love for her community as a volunteer and member of several community boards of directors, including: University of Tennessee Development Council, UT College of Communications Board of Visitors, Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont, the Legacy Parks Foundation and YMCA among others. She is proud of the fact that Working Woman magazine selected Ackermann PR as one of the top companies to work for.
